Walks, Beaches and Pubs

pendower-june-2013-wild-floThere is fabulous walking all around Tregony. Up and down along the coastal path with its stunning seascapes and pretty little coves which will not disappoint you (or the dog – but beware of the free range sheep).

Here are some walking links to start you off:

(NB: there’s no printer at the cottage, so you may want to print some in advance)

The fields below the cottage can be accessed within about 1 minute and are perfect for a quick trot first thing in the morning before breakfast. Guests are respectfully asked to avoid allowing their dogs to use the garden for anything other than a sunbathe!

Pendower Beach is our favourite beach and is about ten minute’s drive away. Long, sandy and in winter totally dog-friendly; during the summer dogs on leads during the day but free to run and play all evening. The sand is excellent for castling, the swimming is safe and there are lots of rock pools at low tide for paddlers. The luxurious Nare Hotel is at one end if you fancy a cream tea or G and T and it too is dog-friendly.

Pubs

ka-tregFor local pubs, look no further than a few steps up the lane at the Kings Arms.

Between walking on local beaches and enjoying a drink in a Cornish Pub you may want to enjoy some of this other things Cornwall has to offer,  Love To Visit maybe able to help you book some attractions.
